Terms of Service
These terms form the contract between the business that signs up for the Dejavu service and the service provider, Dejavu. By opening an account, you accept these terms.
Service provider and data controller: Dejavu (dmrio.com). Contact: info@dmrio.com
1. Description of the service
Dejavu is an AI-powered appointment assistant and business panel for barbers and salons that works over WhatsApp. Customers message the business's WhatsApp number; the assistant offers available times, creates, reschedules and cancels appointments and sends reminders.
The assistant replies in 6 languages (Turkish, English, Dutch, German, French, Arabic) and understands voice messages. It quotes hours and prices only from the data you define in the panel.
2. Account and WhatsApp connection
To open an account, you must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a business. You are responsible for the accuracy and confidentiality of your account details.
Dejavu connects the business's own WhatsApp account via QR code; a WhatsApp Business API account is not required. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms, Inc.; Dejavu is not affiliated with Meta. As the owner of the connected number, you are responsible for complying with WhatsApp's terms of use. Dejavu cannot be held liable for restrictions Meta may apply to your number.
When the connection drops (phone switched off, WhatsApp session ended), the assistant cannot receive messages; you will see a warning in the panel and can restore the connection by scanning the QR code again.
3. Trial period, subscription and payment
Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial; no credit card is required for the trial. If you do not choose a plan when the trial ends, the account is suspended and your data is retained for a further 30 days.
Plans: Monthly 13.99 €/month; 6-Monthly 11.99 €/month (billed 71.94 € every 6 months); Annual 8.99 €/month (billed 107.88 € once a year). Prices exclude VAT. All plans include unlimited appointments, the AI assistant, WhatsApp reminders, Google Calendar integration, customer memory, reports and priority support.
Price changes do not apply until the current subscription period ends and are announced at least 30 days in advance.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time; there is no commitment. On cancellation, the service continues until the end of the paid period. No refund is given for unused time; however, in the event of a service outage caused by Dejavu lasting longer than 7 days, you may request a pro-rata refund for that month.
After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted; you can return within this period.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for the appointment communication of your own business. Sending bulk promotional messages (spam), messaging number lists without consent, transmitting unlawful or misleading content, straining the service's infrastructure or reverse engineering it is prohibited.
In the event of a breach of these rules, the account may be suspended without warning. Any sanction Meta applies to your number is not the responsibility of Dejavu.
6. Customer data and data processing
With regard to your customers' data, you are the data controller; Dejavu is the data processor acting on your behalf. Informing your customers and ensuring the required legal basis is your responsibility.
Dejavu processes the data only to deliver the service, does not sell it to third parties and applies the security measures described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Notice (GDPR / KVKK). On your request, the processed data is permanently deleted.
7. Service level and limitation of liability
Dejavu is cloud-based; it keeps working even if your internet connection goes down. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
The assistant works with artificial intelligence; it takes appointment and price information from your panel data, but errors may occur in its natural-language replies. The appointment records in your panel are authoritative; in critical situations, checking the records is the business's responsibility.
Dejavu's total liability towards a subscriber is limited to the fees paid by that subscriber in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Indirect damages (loss of profit, loss of reputation) are excluded. Cases of intent and gross negligence are not subject to this limitation.
8. Intellectual property
The Dejavu software, design and brand belong to Dejavu. You are granted only a non-transferable, non-exclusive right of use for the duration of your subscription. The data and content belonging to your business remain yours.
9. Termination
In the event of a breach of these terms, Dejavu may suspend or terminate the account. After termination, the data retention and deletion rules apply as set out in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts and enforcement offices of Konya have jurisdiction over disputes. The mandatory local rights of users who qualify as consumers resident in the European Union remain unaffected.
When the terms change, the date at the top of the page is updated; material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by e-mail or via the panel. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
